The adventure of choosing a Reform Jewish ceremony has begun…you are invited to join me on an enchanted, fascinating journey to find your Jewish roots. Together, we will plumb the depths of Jewish history, and follow in the footsteps of our ancient Jewish heritage.Together, we will design a Jewish ceremony, and get in touch with our Jewish roots…we will remember long-forgotten family stories…we will join together and be united as a family…At the height of the ceremony we will celebrate the passing down of the Holy Torah from one generation to the next…From grandparents…to parents…ending in the thrill of passing the Holy Torah on to the Bar or Bat Mitzvah…We will establish new ways…we will renew ancient customs…At the heart of the ceremony will be the traditional Aliyot. We will honor members of the family. Together we will observe the Aliyah L'Torah of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah before the assembled family and friends.

Upon completion of the ceremony, we will bestow a Bar/Bat Mitzvah certificate to honor the occasion, and the effort made during the study and preparation for the occasion.

The Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony is more than a personal experience – it is an experience shared by the whole family from generation to generation, in which everyone has a part. Our preparatory meetings will therefore be for the whole family…in a pleasant atmosphere…together we will build and design the ceremony.

All studies and preparation will be under the personal guidance of Rabbi Amir Wind, who will also provide all the reading and study materials necessary to get ready for the ceremony.

You may choose from:
A Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony in the amazing ancient Synagogue at Zippori, the center of the scholars of the Mishna and the Talmud, on the same mosaic floor on which they sat and studied.
A Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony in the ancient Synagogue of Baram, among the centuries-old columns, in the enchanting surroundings of the Galilee.
A Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony in Jerusalem, our ancient, eternal capital…at the Western Wall…or at Masada…

It is possible to accompany the ceremony with the enchanting singing of a talented Chazanit, which will carry you and your guests away in an extraordinary Jewish experience.

These are but a few of many possibilities.
